Arkay Packaging and Model Group have announced a new global packaging alliance. The collaboration combines both companies’ talent, expertise and innovation, which spans over two centuries. The alliance translates into increased opportunities for worldwide marketing, branding, launches, and graphics for Arkay’s customers. Arkay, which was established in New York City in 1922, has been known for its expertise in packaging for the cosmetics, fragrance, and pharmaceutical industries. Model was founded in 1882 in Switzerland, and the company’s name has become synonymous in Europe with luxury, elegance, and quality in the manufacturing of paperboard packaging and related products for the cosmetic and fragrance arena. “We believe there is no future without a past,” says Daniel Model, Chairman/CEO Model Group, in words that mirror Arkay’s experience, “Our firm’s history stretches back over 130 years – but we must nevertheless continually prove ourselves with our products and services if we are to see our path to the future unrolling before us.” Mitchell Kaneff, Chairman/CEO, Arkay, stated, “Innovation is our mantra.
